Here’s a high school project I did in 2002 for my Health Class. Either we had to write a report or do something creative… and so a rapper born.

This is the first ever recording (that I know of) of me rapping. It’s my (Jonny D)  Anti-Drug Rap… it features my friends Matt Durstewitz (Matty D) and Rich Tyndall (Richie T). I still don’t know anything Rich says in the song. It’s about not smoking pot.

I ended up recording this into my tube computer monitor that happened to have a mic where most laptop cameras are now. I recorded using Sonic Foundry and sampled instrumentals I got off of Napster… yeah, remember Napster?

This track was recorded and released by my fictional label ‘Platinum Teef Records’. This song was also released on a an EP I made called the “Throw Them Bows EP”… some people have this somewhere. God bless ‘em.
